Fuji Electric Expands HMI Product Line-Up With New Cost-Effective Model

Edison, N.J., July 11, 2013Fuji Electric Corp. of America announced today that they have developed a new line of cost-effective HMI displays for the worldwide market.  The TECHNOSHOT Series began shipping in June, and features an enhanced CPU for faster response times along with the industry’s thinnest structure, measuring only 36mm thick.

“Fuji Electric’s efficient manufacturing processes and advanced engineering capabilities enabled us to develop an economical HMI product for the global market,” said Sumio Akimatsu, Fuji Electric’s Vice President of Component Products.  “The TECHNOSHOT Series is an important addition to our product line-up, as it offers our customers a strong value for a variety of applications.”

The CE-Certified TECHNOSHOT Series is available in a 7” and 10” screen size, and features an eco-friendly LED backlight with a sleek, slim structure.  All models come standard with two USB interfaces, allowing better connectivity to peripheral devices.  Customers will enjoy the convenience of TECHNOSHOT’s simple installation, as well as its remote monitoring and maintenance capabilities due to the on-board Ethernet port.  With a WVGA wide-view screen, the viewing area of the HMI is more than doubled, making it an ideal choice for the Packaging Industry.

“We recognized the need for a cost-effective HMI that offers many of the same features and benefits our customers have come to expect,” added Akimatsu.  “Fuji Electric has been providing complete solutions for nearly a century, and part of that commitment means adapting to our customer’s evolving needs and expanding our product offering accordingly.  The development of the TECHNOSHOT Series demonstrates that commitment, as it strikes an optimal balance between price and performance.”
